My story began when I discovered eastern bodywork through massage. I was fascinated by the idea that our bodies are designed to heal themselves, given the right support. When I was 20, I had the chance to try acupuncture for an old ankle injury that had bothered me since eighth grade. After just a few treatments, my pain disappeared completely—and it never returned, even after 25 years.
More recently, during acupuncture school, a doctor suspected I had endometriosis. I turned again to acupuncture, this time trading massage sessions with my acupuncturist for regular treatments, along with custom herbs and ear seeds. In time, my symptoms disappeared, and follow-up scans showed no indication of endometriosis.
These experiences taught me how powerful and transformative acupuncture can be when we trust in our body's ability to heal. I believe that, while we can't control everything happening in our world, we can choose to invest in our own health and wellbeing. My approach is all about following the signs, digging deeper, and helping you find the root of what’s holding you back—so you, too, can heal your body and your mind.
I’m here to support you, wherever you are on your wellness journey. If you have questions or want to learn more about how acupuncture and holistic care can help you, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I look forward to being a partner in your healing.
With gratitude,
Amy
